- Written by Beatrix Potter. New York. Early American edition. Decorative hardcovers. 77 pages. Beautiful color illustrations including the frontispiece drawn by Potter. Many black and white illustrations. The book measures 4” x 5 1/2”.
- The address for the publisher Frederick Warne & Co. is printed on title-page as 12 East 33rd Street, New York, New York. Frederick Warne Co., was at this location from 1911 to 1920. Also, written on reverse side of frontispiece page is the book owners name “Ward Terry Watson, February 1913.”
- In very good condition (see pice.) Binding and covers tight. Bottom of spine cover coming loose. Several page a little loose, but still attached. Overall a very nice, scarce copy.
