  • Included in this sale is the Roberts Radio travelling lite 2, model R9968, in its original box!  It is a MW/FM/SW battery powered portable radio, with provision for external power (not included) via USB.  More features are listed on the box, pictures of which are included in this listing, in particular it incorporates PPL (phase-locked loop) tuning, and the facility to connect earphones for listening to FM stereo or other need.

Although the box mentions the inclusion of a BBC World Service frequency guide, these change regularly so it is not included in this offering -- I suggest going on-line to obtain regular up-to-date details.

What I am including are two (new) AA alkaline batteries, which were not originally provided & a printed copy of the manual.

NB: The radio does allow for external DC input voltage between 3 & 6 V. Therefore with the correct connector, a simple USB to coaxial plug cable would power the radio fine.
