The alpha keys separated from the board. I used gorilla double-sided tape around the perimeter and it is now secure.  Includes the batteries.

As is common with these side battery calculators, the case and cover are both broken as shown. Be gentle when opening the battery cover to prevent it from breaking further.

I always accept returns (sometimes begrudgingly) if you're not happy with your purchase.  Please though, limit the buyer's remorse purchases.
