FIRST VIEW of the BATTLE of PATAPSCO NECK Hand colored Print Andrew Dulac 1814. This piece includes General Ross's death, several dead British soldiers, and designation "O"  for General Ross. The sizes are as follows, overall sheet, 16 5/8" x 19 1/16", the subject size is 13 7/8" x 17 1/8", I have looked  at a couple of these , and many on line, This one is different in many small ways that I have not seen in others.  Designation "L" the British are wearing blue coats instead of red, the designation "I"  British Right and Left have blue colored boots, the other pieces that I have studied do NOT have colored boots, the British Left "I" second platoon from the lower side has a much larger shadow than any other pieces, designation  "N", the log house is burning in an entirely different fashion than other pieces I have viewed, designation "M" + "L" shows blue coats on the British artillery and riflemen, again different, and again the platoons on the right hand side have colored boots not seen in other pieces. Also in pencil on the lower left corner is written PEALE MUESEM,         I have owned this piece for a long time and bought it directly from a house here in Maine.
