An unusual sandwich, biscuit or luncheon plate with cup in very good condition. ‘Wild Geese’ was designed by Sir Peter Scott for Midwinter Pottery in the early 1950s and this sandwich/lunch set is in very good condition for its age. Beautiful flying geese design, all on a smooth cream-coloured ground.

No chips or cracks but a few areas of the light surface crazing particularly to the plate itself (22x16cm) you’d normally expect to find on a piece of kitchenware of this age - I hope this is shown clearly in the photographs.

Fully backstamped in the earlier Stylecraft shape. A rare, collectible and desirable piece.

I will be listing my entire collection of this design with many more pieces to come.
