HAND SIGNED RAS STUDIO POTTERY
DANISH MODERN VASE/PITCHER
ONE QUART U.S. SIZE

This fabulous collectible pitcher is hand-decorated
with a Danish Modern design. 
It has geometric patterns, including a series of circular patterns and
dots painted in deep, dark, blue and shades of green.
This unique decoration is painted on a speckled creme background.  
The top interior of this piece is painted in rich, deep blue.
The bottom of the interior is a lovely sandstone color. 
What sets this piece off and completes this artistic design,
is the BEAUTIFUL glossy glaze!  

This Mid-Century collectible was made between 1935 and the 1960's.

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS:
This pitcher stands 6 inches tall.  
It measures 5.5 inches wide at its widest point. 
The capacity of the pitcher is one US quart or 4 US cups. 
This well-made pitcher is quite heavy, it weighs 
1 pound 9 ounces, UNPACKED 

It really has a lovely rounded shape to it!  

Perfect as a unique piece of studio art to display in your home, 
to serve milk in or to use as a focal point 
on your table as a vase!  

IT IS HAND-SIGNED "RAS 76/1" AND IS ALSO IMPRESSED WITH "DENMARK" 

RAS Ceramics was founded in 1935 in the town of Birkerod, Denmark.  
The founders were Ingeborg Rasmussen and Jens Gaarde Thomsen.  
The studio pottery closed in the 1960's.
