This beautiful camera is also on sale at my antique mall so beat them to it!
This is a Rare No.4 Cartridge Kodak Camera Model E with Maroon Leather Bellows 1898 Serial No. 2695. This camera is in beautiful condition and the lens is clear. All the covering is intact but could use some conditioner or shoe polish. It does have normal wear and scuffs not bad for a 126 year old camera. When pulling out the lens board, the slide comes out with it. I don't know why but as you can see in the photos it does not affect the function. The bellows appear to be light tight and even the original hand strap is present. Everything appears works on this camera, including the shutter but has not been film tested or tested for accuracy. The only negative is the de-silvering of the mirrors in the viewfinder. This is a wonderful camera from my private collection and is a great displaying camera. I will be selling off lots of my camera collection. Follow me to see what is selling. I have taken many photos to show the condition and they are part of the description. It measures approximately 8.5"x6.5"x3.25" and weighs about 3.5lbs. This camera is sold AS-IS.
