Possible original American versions; purchased used from a bookstore in Los Angeles. Mixed lot of four (books 2, 5, 6, 7) originally written by Koushun Takami & Masayuki Taguchi (sic?) and translation/"English adaptation by Keith Giffen."
Used to love these as a teenager when released 20 years ago. Would not recommend for anyone under 18 years old -- lots of graphic violence, sex, some swearing. Think The Hunger Games -- but without the "kid gloves," so to speak. This is about as dark as it gets, folks.
Open to negotiations re: price. Think it's fair, given I paid about $15 per book. I tried to obtain these copies for many years, but the price was astronomical. That's how I arrived at this figure.
