Lt. General Sir Herbert Taylor 1775-1839

Quite a difficult letter to decipher, but it seems that she received a letter from someone called Griffin (?)

and is telling Taylor about it

She ends with 'my love to dear Charlotte', who is Herbert Taylor's wife

This is a personal letter and she very clearly regards Sir Taylor with much affection, as do his other siblings

Taylor has written on the reverse (I think) 'the king is very mad'
