from a smoke free home is for a 9.8 (NM/MT) professionally graded CGC copy of the exceptionally low print run MISPRINT/RECALLED/ERROR EDITION VARIANT of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 Color Special (2009). There have been a number of additional printings of the original #1 issue over the years, and the "Color Special" edition of TMNT #1 was a special 25th anniversary printing where Mirage published this key book
in full color for the first time ever. The first run of just 1,000 copies printed (that's
a third of the print run of the original #1 issue from 1984) was manufactured with font problems and hatch patterns on interior pages in error, prompting a quick "RECALL & DESTROY" notice (see attached picture). Misprinted/recalled comics are prized by collectors for their comparable rarity. Survival count for this misprint following the recall notice was estimated by resources such as
RecalledComics which pegs estimated survival count at 800 copies (source: recalledcomics.com/TMNT1ColorError.php),
