****Full Installation Instructions and procedure are included with the kit**** If you have typical bolt-on neck designs, this Kit will allow you to remove and replace your neck repeatedly, without the risk of stripping the neck screws. This kit is useful on guitars with truss rod adjustment at the heel or if you have stripped out one or more of your neck screws.

The high quality polished brass inserts - ultra strong and are precision made with an 8-32 machine thread inside a deep flute outside thread designed specifically for wood. Install with a small 8-32 Allen head screw and 5/32 key wrench (Allen wrench not supplied).

Also included are Phillips oval head stainless steel 8-32 x 1-1/2 inch and stainless-steel finishing washers in case your neck plate holes are oversized These stainless machine screws have a much higher tensile strength than the #8 wood screws.

Once the kit is installed, they look exactly like the original wood screws and There is no way to tell the neck is bolted using inserts.

Included in the kit are: 4 self-tapping BRASS inserts, internally threaded to accept the neck screws, 4 Phillips oval head 18-8 stainless machine screws, #8-32 thread, 1-1/2" long 4 finishing washers should you have "oversized" neck plate holes (import guitars) and one 8-32 small socket head cap screw (for installation only one each supplied regardless of number of insert sets ordered) Guitar players and luthiers are constantly striving for that perfect "tone". A great deal of a guitar's tone is a function of the joint between the neck and the body. By replacing the neck bolts with 4 brass inserts. It increases the Sustain of any bolt on neck style guitar with a more resonant sounding guitar.

**** Tools Required for installation: Hand drill or drill press ( preferred), 1/4 inch drill bit, 5/32 or 9/64 Allen key wrench (not included in kit)****

Installation is quick and easy. You simply need to re-drill the holes in your neck to ¼ inch and follow the simple instructions outlined in the procedure.! (Note: Please take Caution brass is soft but, harder than the wood on heal of the neck! Please do not over torque when tighten the screws you may snap or strip both screws and inserts during installation.)
