If you own or are servicing a Sony DTC-75es, DTC-55es, or a DTC-700 DAT recorder that will not produce audio output because the RF amplifier does not work, this swap program, which includes an installed new CXA1045Q-Z RF Amplifier IC and two installed new long-life SMD electrolytic capacitors, will allow you to restore the DAT recorder back to life. You are required to ship your trade-in RF Amplifier before this item is shipped to you.

Here is how the program works:

1) place an order for this ebay item

2) carefully package and ship your old, non-working RF Amplifier (including the shield) to the address that will be provided (place it in a USPS priority mail padded envelope, fold that envelope in half, then place the folded envelope in another USPS priority mail padded envelope, and affix a shipping label. These envelopes are provided free by the USPS website).

3) once your old, non-working RF Amplifier is received, this ebay item will promptly be shipped to you

The IC in this swap is brand new and has been handled safely using standard anti-static precautions, including but not limited to: ESD safe international: storage, handling, packing and shipping; domestic ESD safe handling before shipping (antistatic mat, antistatic wrist strap, anti-static grounding wire, anti-static tweezers, anti-static suction-based IC gripper), and placed in an ESD safe packing and shipping container. The electrolytic capacitors are new long-life type.

This RF Amplifer is returnable ONLY if ESD-safe bag/box has not been opened. Once opened, it is not returnable.

In handling the RF Amplifier at your end, you must use standard anti-static IC handling tools.
