Zwei Figuren spazieren auf einem Weg, umgeben von üppigem Baumbestand, Wasserelementen und Architekturdenkmälern, unter einer dramatischen Wolkenformation. Wohl späterer Abzug für die französischsprachige Ausgabe der "Malerisch radirte Prospekte von Italien".

  • Description: The engraved illustration shows a picturesque landscape of Villa Borghese with a view of the winding Muro torto and St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. Two figures walk along a path surrounded by lush trees, water features and architectural monuments under a dramatic cloud formation. Probably a later print for the French-language edition of the "Malerisch radirte Prospekte von Italien".

  • Condition: Rather good condition. Small liquid stain top centre. Slight foxing. Partly slightly browned along the edges. Lower right fingerstain. The corners of the sheet minimally bumped. Remnants of an old binding along the left edge of the sheet.
