At peak of production in the 1940s, the pieces by this renowned artist are rare and extremely desirable. It seems these particular busts are a tradition warrior and a native woman. These particular hand-carved busts are of exceptional quality and might be the gold standard of A.A. Fatimah’s work because of the impeccable condition! These items have A.A. Fatimah’s maker's mark/carved signature on the underside base of the bust. NO cracks or chips... it's in impeccable condition. The warrior seems to be missing a weapon from his sheath.
