It will then be cheap historic Insurance. You could live in this. It has : Hot and Cold running water. Toilet, Shower, Cooker, Three way fridge, Warm Air heating. It has its own Fresh water tank, Dirty water tank, Thetford Casset removable Toilet for emptying. L.E.D. Lights (Inside). Reversing camera with 7 inch screen. USB Ports. Passenger seat swivels to rear. Its got a stainless steel ladder and roof rack on the rear, plus side awning.  Also tow bar and electrics, (working)  Mechanical is Great. It's got an M.O.T. To 22nd August 2024. so you can drive it home. ( As long as you have Insurance.) 

It's only done 60,000 miles +. You can check on old M.O.Ts. I've been to Scotland 3 times in it,1,000 return mile runs with no problems, a few times. Plus other destinations. These old Transits are known for reliabilty. No electronic engine management systems. Just turn the key and go. Not the fastest on the road, but keeps up with trafic. We hardley used it last year (medical issues) as you will see from M.O.T. and miles now. 

Now don't come and expect a new one. It's not perfect. it was new in 1988. But it is a good useable motorhome for.its age. It will take you where you want, when you want. It's not rotten underneath, it has been rust proofed from new with some sort of rustproofing. That is probably why its still on the road. We fitted four new tyres which are still in good condition. I'm sure some people can nit pick, it's not perfect, but if you want a perfect motorhome, you should buy a newer one. We have never had any problems driving this, it's never missed a beat. Never let us down. 

I've lost the knob off the heater, but it does work even without it. You can buy these from any good caravan store and get it fitted. Like i stated before, these old transit go on and on. I had one before that had done 250,000 miles on the clock, still started on the buton with no problems.
