This Rolex Air King 126900 is a lightly worn, UK supplied example of the latest in a long line of Air Kings going all the way back to the 1950’s.  It is 99% perfect in every way.

We sold this watch a year ago as an unworn watch and it was worn very carefully by its first owner who traded it back to us recently.

After working with various pioneer aviators in the 1930’s, in 1958 the first Rolex Air King watch was launched as an homage to all pilots.  The Rolex Air King 126900 is the latest in the line and it brings with it a more modern, more bold look to the range with its Arabic / Explorer combo dial and green accents.

The watch itself is solid and functional. The black dial is designed to be read clearly for navigational calculations. It’s a good size too at 40mm and in line with many of the other models in the current range. It wears a little larger than might be expected, especially with the new crown guards. The smooth bezel puts it in the Explorer / Milgauss / DJ41 school of Rolex watches.

Just tested by Rolex certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co this Rolex Air King is running within COSC spec.
