This wonderful lot of SIX (6) ORIGINAL COPIES of ERIC STANTON'S "FAMILY AFFAIR" is being offered as ONE lot for a very attractive price that will not be beat by ANYBODY! We have had the remaining stock of ERIC STANTON'S FIRST EDITION BOOKS in our possession for 34 years and frankly, we need to make room for other merchandise.
These were STANTON'S very first published books.
Back in the 1970's ERIC STANTON reneged on a deal he made with the printer of this book whereby they were to split the profits. STANTON however took delivery of the books in installments and sold them through his distribution outlets that he had developed. But Stanton eventually stopped sending half of the money to the printer, which was the crux of the deal. So, the printer kept the remaining copies and sold them to us in 1990. The few copies you see out on the market in new unused condition came originally from us.
We sold a number of them back in 1996 through a mid-west distributor named CAPITAL CITY DISTRIBUTION - who was huge - but who went insolvent but was bailed out by STEVE GEPPI'S DIAMOND COMICS of Baltimore, the world's largest Comic Book Distributor.
We need the room, so we are selling these books in small or large lots on a first come first served basis until the supply is exhausted. Once they are gone, THEY ARE GONE!
