The London Illustrated News, July-Dec 1855, Volume 27.  Amazing original condition - hasn't been rebound & has Original cover with Queen Victoria & Napoleon III on the cover in gold.  Hardcover leather bound book.

The volume is made up of weekly newspapers for the 6 months July-Dec 1855 with a special original coloured 1855 Christmas edition.

Has information from all over the British Empire/World with focus on key events, the Crimea War being especially important at this time.

Covers the Crimea War & a State visit to Paris by Queen Victoria to visit Emperor Napoleon III, as well as everything else of significant to the British during last half of 1855.  Number of large prints & prints.

Condition: Very Good.  No pages missing. Binding still solid, no lose pages.  No major tears or corner folding etc.  Inset large maps/prints in VG+ condition/mo rips etc.  Mild signs of use on cnrs of Cover, edges of spine.

Rating as VG/VG+ regardless of age, so for a 170 year old piece it's amazing.  See pics - happy to provide more just ask.
