Description

This is a Barney's reproduction of the J-50 model, based on the analysis of old Gibsons. It features a label inside the soundhole signed by Kyohei Momose, who was involved in OEM production at the time, and a stamp with the numbers "19770702" inside.

There is some neck twisting, and the string height cannot be lowered further, but currently, it has minimal impact on playability. The bridge floating has been corrected, and fret leveling has been performed. There is a bulge on the top, resulting in an overall low and flat fret height.

There are scratches, dents, and paint peeling on the headstock, fretboard, neck back, and sides. Particularly, near the 11th fret on the 6th string side, there is a noticeable dent where the paint has peeled off, exposing the wood. The body has numerous scratches and dents, with a significant dent near the center of the back and paint peeling near the lower right end of the back. There are play marks around the pickguard and soundhole, scratches as if something hit the bridge, and discoloration and pitting on metal parts.

Despite the significant signs of use, the overall condition is good. The hard case included has multiple stickers attached.
