An outstanding Regency style hand crafted and carved, antique solid mahogany dining set by Maple & Co c1850-1900. All the chairs have the markers stamp. However, the table doesn't. Whether the original makers stamp has come off over the years or it was made seperately, i can not say. Although, the carving on the edges to the table top bears the same pattern.

The table top is made from one beautifully cut and polished slice of wood, and each leg on the foot is fitted with wonderful and exquisite antique cast brass claw toes with the original rolling castors.

The table top has a few age related scratches. Please see the photos for a clearer description.

The table top lifts off, as you can see in the pictures, and it comes with all the relevant screw fittings to secure it.

The Maple & Co chairs have beautiful, rich, solid mahogany frames, with bar back design and decorative carved stretcher.

Generous sized seats, with lift out seat pads.

The chairs are in very good condition, raised on sabre legs and bearing the makers label (Maple&Co).

At an auction house, these Maple&Co mahogany sets can fetch up to £8000!

This is truly an investment piece and will look stylish in any well designed home or for someone to resell with a huge profit. I just don't have the time or space for it anymore.
