The mitt is broken in, it is flexible, it is very well padded and it is slightly heavy ! The mitt also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out ! Check out the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove wraps itself around a full size 12 inch round softball and the 6th photo how the glove looks in the closed position without a ball in the pocket while the 7th photo shows how the glove can cradle 2 full sized 12 inch round softballs at one time ! You can size up the mitt by the full size 12 inch round softballs in the pocket ! As far as fitting goes, this glove is a snug fit on my average adult size hand and it is snug in the finger stalls and snug around the wrist and it does have a Velcro wrist strap that works really well ! The inner lining is in excellent condition and the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! The laces on this mitt are also very  good ! There is no ink or marker anywhere on the glove ! You will not be disappointed with this glove !
