Here is a beautifully romantic vintage jug and bowl Crown Ducal set. Huge blowsy pink roses are off-set by the dramatic black background. The handle of the jug and the inside of the bowl are white. This pattern is perfect to display. These pieces are big so make an impact. The bowl is without any cracks or chips and would be the perfect planter for ferns or other house plants. The jug has a hairline crack on one side at the top [3 inches long] which I have photographed. It's been like that for years and it doesn't show on the outside. It also has a tiny chip on the base at the perimeter. It is invisible unless you turn the jug upside down and peer really hard. At the spout there is a small area of a slightly darker colour [see final photo]. It is under the glaze so pre-firing. All pieces in this design / colour have little imperfections on the black glaze, but they are minimal on both pieces.
