Dual Housing Structure
Dual housing construction consisting of Housing A (body) and Housing B (head). Housing A with a built-in cable clamp is covered by Housing B, providing both a beautiful design and a strong cable fixation inside the housing.
Flex Cable Clamp System
The cable clamp is movable, and the fixed cable can always be positioned at the center axis of the plug, enabling a well-balanced pull-out of any cable of any thickness.
ARMORED mechanical grounding
ARMORED mechanical grounding” is a highly rigid stainless steel screw that penetrates the main body and housing A/B, and is screwed from two directions on the main body side and housing B side. The main body and housing are firmly integrated, and rattling between parts is completely eliminated.
IP Shield
The Ion Plating (IP) process, in which a metallic film of titanium/chromium carbonitride is deposited in a vacuum, is introduced to the housing. The “IP shield” on the housing blocks the intrusion of external noise.
Enlarged conductor insertion area and drawer opening
A tapered conductor insertion section allows for smoother insertion of thicker conductors equivalent to 5.5sq. The large cable pull-out opening can accommodate up to 16.5mm ultra-thick cables.
Exclusively designed high-rigidity non-magnetic stainless steel screws/nuts
All screws/nuts are made of rigid non-magnetic stainless steel designed exclusively for the ARMORED Series. They have excellent mechanical strength and provide superior durability even after repeated use.
