Le
31 janvier 1993, Michael Jackson se produisit durant la mi-temps du
Super Bowl américain devant les 100,000 spectateurs du stade de
Pasadena (Californie) et 133 millions de téléspectateurs. Il
interpréta un medley de quatre chansons (Jam, Billie Jean, Black Or White et Heal The World) en sortant les grands moyens : chorégraphies, explosions et participation du public.
Durant
la dernière chanson, il fut demandé aux spectateurs de lever des
pancartes mises à leur disposition. Vue de haut se dessina alors une
farandole d'enfants se tenant par la main.
Voici vendu ici un des coussins attachés aux sièges du stade dans lequel vous trouverez :

une affiche blanche (43x43cm) avec des instructions au verso
destinées au public en lien avec la performance de Michael Jackson à
la mi-temps ;
- un badge promo Heal The World (9x7,5cm) et son livret explicatif (20x13cm) ;
- un mini transistor AM (qui ne fonctionne plus, avec écouteurs, dans l'emballage d'origine) permettant à l'origine aux spectateurs de suivre le match commenté à la radio ;
- un flyer et un livret de 8 pages liés à la NFL.

On January 31, 1993 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, Michael Jackson performed a medley of "Jam", Billie Jean", "Black or White" and "Heal The World" at the Super Bowl Halftime Show before an audience of 100,000 in the stadium and 133 million on TV.
Michael began his "Heal The World" performance by saying “Today, we stand together all around the world, joined in a common purpose to remake the planet into a haven of joy, and understanding and goodness. No one should have to suffer, especially our children. This time, we must succeed. This is for the children of the world.” He included the audience in his performance, as they all hold placards that formed the shape of children when seen from above.
