This guitar has been played that’s for sure but it’s from 78/79 so that’s no surprise but… it plays great.

The S1 is a quirky guitar, gibsons take on the strat but with more combinations of the 3 single coil pickup selections and an interesting phase setting putting two of the pickups out of phase to make a thin funk sound. It’s a super versatile guitar with tonnes of character and a great selection of tones.

It’s got some dings and some wear and a big belt rash in the back but that’s what made me buy it in the first place as it looks so cool. The Flying V style headstock is awesome. As far as I can tell all the electrics are original and are all in great working condition. at some point someone changed the tunners for Schaller ones and added a proper strap button behind the headstock. It’s missing a cap on the little pick selector toggle switch.

It’s gonna be hard to part with this guitar but there’s a baby on the way and I can only keep a couple of guitars so I need to make some space.

Guitar sold as seen. It has no case, if you want it posted we can do that but would have to sort out buying a case and shipping that to me and I’ll post it on in that.
