Author Biography

Neil Goldberg is a Broadway director, theater producer, creative visionary and emerging new author whose name is synonymous with quality, engaging family entertainment and content. He has been leading and revolutionizing the world's entertainment landscape for over three decades with highly imaginative contemporary circus arts, theatrical and immersive experiences. Neil is CEO and artistic director of Variety Arts Management, Dream Studios and founder of Cirque Productions and the renowned Cirque Dreams entertainment brand. He has designed and produced show and innovative spectacles for two Super Bowls, the NBA, Disney, Busch Gardens, Six Flags, Miss Universe, NBC, ABC, CBS; Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines and Armed Forces Entertainment. For over a decade, Niko Nickolaou has used his innate ability to tap into a child's sense of wonder in developing one-of-a-kind entertainment, including award-winning signature Christmas holiday events. From immersive walk through experiences to "A Christmas Wish Light Show," the record-setting ticket sales of Niko's creations has inspired countless holiday memories leading to families returning, beginning new holiday traditions that he knew would be shared for generations. John Kelly has been working in illustration, animation, and video production since 1991, but he has always loved to draw. In 2019 John decided to focus on picture books exclusively. Inspired by Tolkien and Stan Lee from a young age, John likes to bring the fantastic to life. "I have a passion for digital art of every kind, but story telling is my true talent. I believe every frame should be a work of artistry, and every line, mote, and shadow carries the story within the frame to the viewer." Christopher Nigel Jones is a British-American journalist and academic. He is the chief theater critic and Sunday culture columnist of the Chicago Tribune. Since 2014, he has also served as director of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's National Critics Institute. Jones appears live on the news broadcast of CBS-2 Chicago as a weekly theater critic. In 2018, he was additionally named Broadway theater critic for the Tribune related publication, the New York Daily News. In 2001, Jones was featured in an article in American Theatre magazine about the 12 most influential theater critics in America. In 2016, the New York Times cited Jones as an important reason that Broadway shows try-out in Chicago, noting the role his reviews have played in helping producers improve productions for New York runs.
