Good
quality straight high grained spruce was chosen for the top, and the
maple of one piece back with beautiful grain is softly flamed.
Matched sides, neck and scroll. The purfling is a tasteful work of good
craftsmanship, just as the shining, golden amber varnish. New boxwood
set up and new strings. The whole length of the violin is 588 mm and the back
358 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 169 mm; middle bouts: 115 mm;
lower bouts: 207 mm. Full size.
