I am unsure of the origins of this crank, its mileage or what it came out of or whether its been adapted in any way but is in very good condition.

I believe it was bought as part of a stroker kit and was meant to have come off an E36 2.8ltr, thus turning the E30 2.5 into a 2.7ltr stroker.

However, having done some research the part numbers correspond to a std 2.5 ltr crank, apart from the H77 number, the 2.5 cranks I have come across have H75 embossed on them corresponding to a 75mm throw of the crank. The H77 leads me to believe it has a 77mm throw, possibly matching that of a E36 2.8 crank, but I am unsure of this as well as I cannot find any numbers that match a 2.8 crank!

The crank has been dry stored and always been wrapped up in bubble wrap resting on some polystyrene and hasn't been cleaned of the oil on it, but will need a clean and polish just to get rid of the light surface rust that has developed, however I would still recommend getting it properly checked and balanced and measured before use.

I have done my best with this as I know so little about it, please study the images carefully so you are satisfied with what you are buying.

Will be collection only in Hampshire just due to the weight of the item!
