For your consideration is this decent 1943 Australian bronze one Penny piece featuring the bust of King George VI on the obverse and kangaroo on the reverse. Struck at the Melbourne Mint, this coin is in above average condition (looks to be in Very Fine+) with remnants of red toning and no major detracting marks. There’s a ding behind the King’s ear & spot in the reverse field. Particulars are: KM Catalog# 36; plain edge; approximately 31mm in diameter.
