Antique/Vintage Rooster Shaped Cookie Jar Farmhouse Collectible Pottery Ceramic. Rare find!

For sale is an antique/vintage/very old looking Rooster Shaped Cookie Jar! The old rooster shaped cookie jars are often a favorite find for vintage collectors. This ceramic pottery is a white/ivory color and was hand painted, although there is paint loss (red, yellow ,green ) due to age. It stands about 12 inches tall with its lid on and about 8 inches across. It is lovely vintage condition with expected fine lines due to its advanced age, crazing or paint loss at its base, and one small chip under lid (see photo) not visible when lidded. Did not try to clean. This is a very old rooster cookie jar and will be a standout in any collection. No markings but its fine lines authenticate its age and add to its charm.
