This was sold to me a couple of years ago by somebody, who demonstrated it working to me at that time. 

So, I am quite sure it is a working unit. 

However, I don't have the external power supply (or can't find it), and the battery terminals are corroded.          (Unpictured, as I didn't realize this could run on battery and had battery terminals at time of photographing). 

If you find a power supply (or can repair/replace battery terminals) and find that it is not working to your satisfaction, I will accept returns of this item within 2 weeks of the date of the delivery of the item to your door. 

Other than that, it is in very good cosmetic condition. 

If you have a bit of pluck, and are interested enough, I would suggest replacing the battery terminal bay. The standard terminal bay is a row of AA's (annoying to insert and remove). Assuming this runs on 7.5V, perhaps replace with a bay that fits 2x or 3x  9v batteries wired in PARALLEL, and add a resistor at the output that will suck up the extra 1.5V. 

Or, perhaps find a 7.5V rechargeable battery pack of some description that will fit in the current battery bay, and solder the terminals in.
