The Leica M6 TTL Millennium is a model commemorating the manufacture of the 2,500,000th Leica camera, launched in a limited edition of 2000 units in the year 2000. The product code for Leica is 10442. A unique serial number is engraved on the accessory shoe. It features a sleek black paint finish. The viewfinder has a magnification of 0.72.
This model, paying homage to the M3, includes distinctive design elements such as the film advance lever and rewind knob. Although the paint coating is more durable compared to those used in the M3 and M2 era, it develops a remarkable patina with extensive use.
This model was also sold in sets with the Summilux-M 50mm f1.4 and Summicron-M 35mm f2 ASPH lenses, both featuring the same black paint and red lettering, with the last three digits of the serial numbers matching those of the camera body.
There are no signs of use. While it does not come with the original box, it appears that the previous owner never used it after purchase, capturing the atmosphere of its initial release.
