Turn Of The Century Overcoat Jacket Victorian Steampunk

I received this coat from a family friend 35+ years ago. I had the interior lining, not the sleeves, fabric replaced back then, by a seamstress, because it was in very poor condition. I do know that the lady who gave it to me said that this was old and had been in her family for a very long time. I don't know how old it is, you are purchasing this with your knowledge. It is a faded black color and I think it is made from wool but I'm not sure. I'm not a clothes expert, I'll try and measure as best as I can, forgive me if it is not 100% accurate. It is approx. 42" long from the top of the collar, laying flat, to the bottom hem. It is approx. 16" across in the narrowest spot where it would be if it was buttoned. It can be buttoned either to the left or the right. The sleeves, from the top shoulder seam to the other, is approx. 18" across. This will need to be dry cleaned. It is clean but has not been laundered in 35+ years or longer. It also has some lint and cat hair on it. The buttons are fabric covered metal.  Has a Victorian / Edwardian or steampunk look to it. It would be fun to wear this amazing garment.  I am selling this as is. Pictures are part of the description.
