Original 1962 Volkswagen Beetle print ad was printed in black and white, measures approximately 8" X 11", and was printed on standard general interest or automotive quality paper utilized, not the premium paper utilized by National Geographic. Because of the lower quality paper, there is some aging discoloration where the original white open space now has an off-white tint, which darkens nearer the edges. Also please note, this ad came from a hardbound collection of 6 months of magazines that had been in my local library until they went digital and sold their entire stock to me. Because of the way magazines are bound inside a hard cover, this ad was trimmed approximately 1/4 inch on the bound side to eliminate the rough edge caused by the original binding. If you zoom over the photo to enlarge it, you should be able to better ascertain the extent of aging discoloration and the result of the 1/4 inch trimming. The two black arrows point to small cuts that were made by the binding at the bottom two bindings. Other than aging discoloration and trimming, ad is in excellent condition and contains no markings, bends, folds, wrinkles, stains, or water damage. . File: WB9

HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE: Packages too heavy for 1st class will ship via media mail. The starting point for 1st class packages over a certain weight is triple the price, and far exceeds what is being billed. That is why I must ship heavy packages that are not allowed to go first class large envelope via media mail. It generally takes over 100 total pages of 9” by 11" ads or brochures or 64 total pages of 10” X 14” premium brochures to exceed 1st class large envelope weight limit.
ALSO, PLEASE NOTE: Shipping will only take place on Wednesday and Saturday, unless I find myself at my local grocery store, which operates as a satellite post office. If so, I will mail item on that day. Payments received between Sat 8:01 AM and Tuesday at 11:00 PM will ship on Wednesday. Payments received between 11:01 PM Tuesday and 8:00 AM Saturday will ship on Saturday.
