1968 Emmons Push Pull pickup.  Original re-wound by Jerry Wallace. 15 Ohms.

This pickup came out of a ’68 S-10 Push Pull Emmons pedal steel.  It measures 15 Ohms.  The pickup was very microphonic, so I sent it to the late Jerry Wallace who re-wound it 10 or so years ago.  It’s been sitting on a shelf ever since but it’s time for it to find a new home.  I had another original Emmons pickup so I never put it back in.

The pickup originally measured 11.5 Ohms and sounded amazing but was very noisy and microphonic. When your palm came down on it, there was a loud thud!  After conferring with Jerry about the re-wind, we decided to up it 15 Ohms for a tad more output.
