Antique Large 19thc Mintons Parian Figure Group of Una and the Lion c1889

 The subject is from Spencer’s Faerie Queene

 Super Parian figure group of naked female Una and the Lion.

 The figure group stands 14.75 inches high, the base measures 12 inches x 5 inches.

 Fabulous crisp detail especially the mane of the lion.

 The Parian is top quality being smooth, creamy and tactile.

The condition is good with some excellent professional restoration to both hands and one foot.

 Impressed on the base Mintons and the date code for 1889.

 A similar figure can be seen in The Parian Phenomenon page 64 fig.80
