This canvas feel lined dress is so freaking cute. A swinging 60s style, the cheerful red colour with the polka dots, the ric rac trim and then the discreet but fun fruity touches from the cherry and strawberry additions to the collar and hem. A hint of a Peter Pan collar and the metal logo tacked neatly to the front. Another on my "I wish it was my size" list.

It truly is a mini dress to be worn with confidence or it would happily cheer up some leggings or close fitting trousers. The closure is by the zip to the rear which is finished with some more ric rac so you can zip yourself in. The zip pull is a little worn but I'm not marking that as a flaw as it gives a nice touch and doesn't affect the wear. The red is very much a cherry shade best shown in the across shoulders shot and it's quite matt in look given the fabric is a heavyweight feel. It's a bit more morello cherry than bright cherry, a red with blue tones and not as bright as that photo but absolutely as adorable.
