Vintage Tin Litho Gama Pan American Airways PAA Airplane Strato Clipper. Made in Western Germany

This one has lived a full life. Probably 70+ years ago the kid who got this for Christmas decided to paint it silver with red stripes and that's how I found it with real thick silver paint on about 75% of it.  I managed to remove a fair amount of the paint with Q-tips and paint remover Washing it with soap and water leaving it with a cool antique patina with most of its original lettering intact

The friction wheels work and the propellers spin when you push the plane. It appears to be fully intact and is a very early version with the working side door and no lights.

Measures  20 inches wingtip to wingtip and 15 inches nose to tail.

The toy was made so that the wings can be removed with the turn of a clip and it will be shipped that way.
