A very nice, very lightly run, Lionel 18563 New York Central NYC #2380 GP9 powered diesel with TMCC & RailSounds for O/027 gauge made in 1996. 

(Note: Runs on 027 style track just fine but O-31 or larger curves are recommended due to the engine length)

This beautiful NYC GP9 diesel features a strong Pullmor motor, 4 wheel drive with MagneTraction, can operate under TMCC/Legacy remote control OR Conventional transformer control with 3 Position (Fwd-Neutral-Rev) electronic reversing, metal frame/ railings & trucks, directional headlights, RailSounds 2.5 which provides diesel motor / horn & bell sounds, front & rear remote activated electro-couplers and crisp NYC Lighting Bolt colors & graphics.

tested this engine on my layout in both conventional and TMCC modes and the motor, engine reversing, lights, electro-couplers and RailSounds all worked great! 

This engine comes with the original box, foam insert & copy of the Lionel instruction manual and I will wrap & pack with care prior to shipment.
