This beautiful copy is only 7” tall and 4” wide. Comes with the original dust jacket fully intact with the price 65p still visible front flap bottom. This wee book was read once and opened a second time to just look at the illustrations. This copy is as tight as the day it came off the binder.

Clean inside and out. No graffiti. Rear panel has one teeny tiny speck that I believe can be removed. If I attempt these things most likely I’ll make hole or tear the cover off so the endeavor will be left for the next owner. Botton if the spine has thee slightest hint of shelf west. Spine is straight binding robust, no loose or missing pages.

Great little book to add to your fables, fairies and tales collection.

Not a ex-lib rag nor has it been infected with the remainder plague.

Original first edition goes back to 1946 by the same publisher Blackie.

This copy hasn’t a date anywhere but we know it’s a reprint. Nearly a brand one too.
