A set of decals to create a tribute build for the RAF Typhoon D-Day Anniversary livery.

The aircraft paint scheme includes features that commemorate D-Day, with 2024 being the 80th Anniversary of the allies invading Europe. The aircraft is painted in a 1944 era ‘Day Fighter’ scheme that remembers a Hawker Typhoon of 257 Squadron, FM-G. On D-Day this aircraft was flown by Pilot Officer Denzel Jenkins.

Decals include:

  • D-Day invasion stripes for wings & fuselage
  • RAF Tactical Recognition Flash
  • Aircraft number & FM-G designation
For those modelers wanting to go beyond the actual display livery:
  • Name insignia for cockpit sides
  • “Reach for the Sky” logos
  • Iconic RAF phrases (intended for drop-tanks, large munitions or fuselage sides)
  • Images of the iconic Hawker Typhoon
  • 80th Anniversary logo
  • 257 Squadron insignia
  • RAF badges

The decals are printed on high grade clear water slide decal paper. They are produced as an entire sheet and the individual decals are not separate on the transparent layer. The transparent sheet is very thin and conforms well to model contours, although a decal setting solution is still recommended. They are sealed with a clear coat to protect them during handling & application.

Can be also be produced in different scales, size variations, colour tones and different legends.
