Rare Cartier Vendome, Trinity Malachite Lacquer Ballpoint Pen: FULL SET

A superb Vintage Green Malacite Lacquer ballpoint pen by Cartier, Paris

"Vintage" as Cartier ceased production of the Vendome model around 25 years ago

In its original Box with Original Guarantee Card (in blank, i.e. without retailers stamp and undated - probably as it was an unsold display item) and Operating Instructions - i.e. Full Set

Exceptionally rare in this Malachite Lacquer version, most were produced either silver-plated or gold-plated. The clip is retractable and operates by pushing down the top button 

Fully signed (Cartier, Paris, Made in France, PLAQUE OR G) and numbered: 685754 - see photos 

The ballpoint refill has been recently replaced and the pen writes very well - see photo #13. As these are generally difficult to get hold of, I have replacement new refills currently listed

Total length is 13.6 cm

In excellent condition with minimal signs of usage, minor tarnishing, no chips or cracks on the lacquer

A superb Collector's item, which is also usable!

Bidders with zero feedback (and/or newly registered on eBay) should confirm their identity before bidding. After a recent spate of such bidders (mostly from Kuwait), any of their bids on my auctions will be cancelled. Similarly, bidders who conceal their identity by using a Forwarding Agent in a different country will have their bids cancelled unless they have traded or communicated with me previously.

Payment should be made within 3 days of receiving an invoice unless the Buyer requests an extension. Unpaid items will be re-listed and such Buyers will be blocked from future bidding in my auctions. Similarly, any previous Buyers who have failed to honour their obligation to pay are automatically excluded from bidding or communicating with me.

Shipping ("Economy") is via Swiss Post (or, for higher value items, Fedex or UPS, this being shown as "Express" postal service) from Switzerland, fully tracked and insured up to the declared value. 

Please note that Switzerland is not in the EU and that Customs Duties may be levied on import into EU countries (and also into the UK).
 

All sales are final. However, if you feel on receiving the item that my description is not accurate then it can be returned provided its in the same condition as when originally shipped by me. Antiques and vintage items by their nature will have imperfections. In detailing the current condition of the item in the listing, it is the combination of the written description and the photos which is being represented.
