Vauxhall Cavalier Colorado 1.8i in Glacier White

This car looks really amazing and puts alot of newer cars to shame with the condition of it. I am always getting compliments on how good it looks. Drives superb! I have even took it up to Blackpool and it was utterly faultless

I knew this car hadn`t been used much when I bought it so I have spent a fair bit of money and time on it to make sure it was good to go. I have done the following below

Cam Cover Gasket Replaced @ 87,266 miles 1/07/2022

Gates Cambelt, tensioner and waterpump
Replaced thermostat housing seal
Gates Multi V Drivebelt replaced
Replace Brake Fluid

Bad points

Slightly lumpy idle, having googled this for months and months and spoken to other people most seem to say the 1.8was a lumpy idle engine, make of that what you will, i`ve never had any issues with the engine.
Rear arches starting to rust, this is only very slight and they are completely solid, same as sills all solid
The interior strip of plastic under the windscreen starting to get small cracks in it, being black and 30 years old it has absorbed the sun alot, faded parcel shelf but it`s original, spare tyre loads of tread

Please remember this is 30 years old and will not drive like your modern car, it also will not be brand new, there will be small marks and stone chips etc but in my opinion I don`t think you would find a better condition Cavalier. This is of course my opinion and viewing is recommended. No test drives without insurance

Insurance for me was only £130 for the whole year through Lancaster Insurance and this was with me using my no claims on another car so was with zero no claims.
If you don`t boot it everywhere it is also very good on fuel seeing 40mpg!

Reason for sale, I am looking to move areas now and will not have a garage to tinker about in, This is not a car that should be sat outside and would love to find someone who will continue to look after it as much as I have. I will be very sad to see this car go, this is a very reluctant sale.

Has just come out of the garage again for the summer and I am using it almost daily so mileage will increase. These old cars need to be used! Just had a new oil and filter change the moment it came out of the garage.

NO TIMEWASTERS, TYRE KICKERS OR TEST PILOTS

I could possibly drive this anywhere to deliver it (testament to how well it runs) depending on where you are, payment in full will be needed first. No hesitation at all to drive this up to Scotland! Payment in full will be required first. email me and let me know where you are.
