Five volumes - series 1 to 5 with 40 incredible colour plates per volume of Hulme's Familiar Wild Flowers and I'm guessing this collection is late Victorian circa 1895. The books are all solid and well-bound but with obvious wear and tear to the binding but the interiors are beautiful as are ALL of the plates. There is a name inscribed in each book at the head of the inner front title page.
BUT - please do zoom-in and look carefully and closely at all the photos as the photos form an integral and important part of the book's description. The book is sold ' as is ' and what is seen in the photos is what is sent.
