Item Details:

Baggy Trousers sold 635,000 copies in the UK. The first few hundred thousand pressings had green labels. To feed the continuing demand, they were then repressed with blue labels. However, as the story goes, there was growing disquiet amongst the band at the error in the writing credit on the label for Baggy Trousers which included Mike Barson, as well as the actual writers; Chrissy Boy and Suggs. In the end apparently Chris asked Stiff that if any further copies were to be pressed that Mike's name be removed. In fact only a tiny batch more of the blue label version were pressed, possibly as few as 1000 and consequently the chances of finding this version with the Mike Barson credit removed remain at about 1 in 635!

Vinyl is in mint condition, it may have never been played. I rarely describe something this old as being mint...but this is mint! Generic Stiff Records sleeve has a few minor creases (say Ex- for the sleeve; easily replaceable).
