United States $2.50 Liberty Head Gold Quarter Eagle coin minted in 1878 at the San Francisco Mint. It has been graded by NGC as having MS Details with a scratch in the obverse.  I've seen worse graded better.  Other than the scratch in the lower field under Liberty's chin with a bit across her lower neck, the coin is very nice.  The scratch is hard to see without magnification. The coin is nicely uncirculated with an incredible reverse.
