This is a vintage hand-carved wooden sculpture of a yachtsman, created by Swedish master carver, Sven Gunnarsson. Sven was a furniture maker in Sweden, who turned his carving hobby into a career in the 1930s. This sculpture measures 6.75 inches in height and 2.5  inches in width. It is in the flat-plane carving style. The sculpture is signed by the artist on bottom of foot, and is an original piece.
