From Germany - A bronze sculpture of a standing female nude by Wilhelm Andreas (1882-1951). The woman is depicted lunging forward with her left hand cupping her ear.
The work is signed "Andreas" and bears an impressed foundry mark. The sculpture is mounted on a beveled marble base.
Many less detailed reproductions of this can be located on the internet, this is an earlier piece with perfect patina and absolutely no damage.
From the estate collection of a celebrity jeweler, this sculptural bronze has adorned an estate and designer jewelry store as well as a Pacific Northwest home.
