Model is set on a wood base for stability. Very well put together and very sturdy with an excellent, meticulous paint job. Many hours were put into detailing the base and the model.
***This model will be very carefully packed, but it has many small parts. If anything comes loose during shipping, you will need some basic modeling skills to glue them back on. The model is built very sturdy but shipping can be rough!
