Vilmer Military - Set 462 - Chevrolet Rocket Launcher Truck in Army green - 1/50 scale 
This is a well detailed rare vintage model of a Vilmer model no.462 (1/50th) Chevrolet Rocket Launcher Truck in military green with a gun on the roof including green hubs with blue Army Air Force decals on side doors.Silver rocket and firing mechanism with gun on roof. Condition is very good  commensurate to age with only minor age-related issues.Some very minor paint losses and marks but overall very good.Comes in very good original picture box.

Vilmer was founded by Kaj Christiansen around 1953. Before the war, he was a tool or instrument maker and also served as a policeman. Like many Danish policemen, he was sent to a concentration camp by the Nazis and luckily survived.When he returned to Copenhagen he set up the model business with a fellow policeman and partner.
